Do I need to book?
In order to offer you the best experience possible, our class sizes are limited so please make sure to pre-book your class here or call Lisa on (+356) 9996 9483.
Do you provide equipment?
LahLah Yoga has mats & straps for you to use free of charge. If you would prefer to bring your own mat, please feel free. We also have mats for sale should you wish to buy your own.
What should I wear?
Dress in comfortable, loose clothing in which you are able to move freely. Yoga is practiced barefoot, so no need to worry about shoes!
Can I eat before class?
Yoga is best practiced on an empty stomach. It is recommended to not eat anything for 2 hours prior to class. If you do need to eat something for a quick energy boost, fruit is advised. Please also drink lots of water before, after & (a little) during class to keep yourself hydrated.
Do I need to bring anything?
Just yourself & some water! Some students may prefer to bring their own mat. Please leave your mobile outside, or turn it off once entering the yoga room. Phones on vibrate are still heard and could disturb someone during their relaxation!
I have an injury, can I do yoga?
It depends on the nature of the injury. For serious injuries please seek advice from a GP or specialist before commencing a yoga practice. Yoga can be great for rehabilitation from many injuries, but it is best to start with private sessions to focus on you and your injury.
I am not flexible, can I do yoga?
Of course! If you’re inflexible then you will benefit most from yoga. Yoga enhances flexibility, it is not a pre-requisite. So if, like most of us, you have tight shoulders, hamstrings, quads, back or hips, then yoga can really help.
Is yoga a religion?
No, yoga is practiced by people of all religions. The physical benefits of yoga are very real, and do not depend on chanting Om (although this is a nice, relaxing thing to do!). Some people’s yoga is a deeply spiritual practice, but whether you are practicing to honour your Higher Power or body, to get fit & lose weight, or to de-stress & just have fun, yoga is for everyone!
